Commonly referred to as mounting foam, spray foam, or construction foam, Apel Polyurethane Foam by Beta Kimya is designed for these specific uses.
Features of Apel Polyurethane Foam
- Temperature Resistance: Able to withstand temperatures between -40°C and +90°C, it makes an excellent insulation material.
- Water and Heat Insulation: As it hardens, it forms a strong structure that insulates against water and heat, and is resistant to all weather conditions. It also provides sound insulation.
- Versatile Application: The spongy foam can be painted, covered with plaster, or cut to size.
- Adhesive Properties: Due to its chemical composition, polyurethane foam adheres to almost any surface.
Applications of Apel Polyurethane Foam
- Construction and Furniture: Widely used in the construction and furniture industries, it serves as a versatile filler and adhesive.

Using Apel Polyurethane Foam
Safety Precautions:
- Always wear appropriate gloves and safety glasses.
- Clean the surface to be used (wood, concrete, or metal) to ensure optimal adhesion. For faster curing, slightly dampen the surface.
- Ensure the foam gun is filled completely before use (only applicable for foam guns).
- Apply the foam from bottom to top, filling all gaps.
- After shaking well, turn the can upside down and apply. It will cure in 8-10 minutes and be fully hardened in 2 hours.
Cleaning: Apel Polyurethane Foam is easy to clean while it's still wet. Using its dedicated cleaner, Apel Pu Foam Cleaner, ensures no residue remains. For cured foam, it can only be removed with a knife.
