BETA Kimya A.Ş., founded in 1987, took its first step into adhesive industry with the production of furniture glues. BETA Kimya A.Ş., always adds value to the chemical industry with its superior quality adhesive products. BETA Kimya A.Ş. continued its rapid growth with the Apel and Mitreapel generic brands. Today, BETA Kimya A.Ş. has expanded its product family with more than 100 different varieties produced.
BETA Kimya A.Ş., established another production facility with an advanced technology investment in Tuzla, Istanbul in 2007, started the production of new generation adhesives and chemicals for the wood and construction sectors. Continuing its additional investments with the increase in production capacity, the company has established the first R&D laboratory in this facility. The R&D laboratory, which operates with a team consisting entirely of Turkish engineers, succeeded in being registered with the R&D Center Certificate in 2019. With the Antibacterial Spray and Liquid Hand Disinfectants developed in this center, BETA Kimya A.Ş. invested in the field of Healthcare.
BETA Kimya A.Ş., which started the production of technical aerosols, polyurethane-based adhesives, and filling materials in its production facility established in Tuzla in 2010, later established two new factories in 2013 and 2016 respectively, increasing the total number of production facilities to a number of 4. It exports to 78 countries by 2020 by increasing its trade to countries in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and the Asia Pacific region, especially neighboring countries.
Mitreapel, one of the generic brands of the Turkish chemical industry in export, was also registered as a "Well-known Brand" by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office in 2020.
BETA Kimya A.Ş., which is one of the most reputable brands and high-value organizations, still takes place among the top R&D investors in Turkey.
For 38 years, BETA Kimya A.Ş. has been adding value to the Turkish chemical industry. While continuing its investments with its strong company structure with 100% domestic capital and global targets, BETA KİMYA A.Ş. Gebkim Campus, which was founded in 2020 and has the title of being the largest adhesive production facility in Eastern Europe and the Middle East, became fully operational at the end of 2022.
